What Are Some Other Recipes You Can Make Using ZEOCLAY?
ZEOCLAY is designed to detoxify and and help with skin health. The typical face mask is simply pure ZEOCLAY and water. However, there are many varieties and uses depending on what your skin is in need of. Try some of the recipes here to experience the versatility of ZEOCLAY.
When using ZeoClay as part of your skincare routine, try making some of these simple and nourishing face masks:
- Hydrating Face Mask: In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of ZEOCLAY with 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Mix until well combined and apply to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. The Clinoptilolite will help to absorb excess oil and impurities, while the honey and coconut oil provide hydration and nourishment to the skin.
- Clarifying Face Mask: In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of ZEOCLAY, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
- Brightening Face Mask: In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of ZEOCLAY, 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of turmeric. Apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
- Soothing Face Mask: In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of clinoptilolite powder, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, and 1 teaspoon of chamomile tea. Apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Note: These face masks are suitable for all skin types, but it is always a good idea to patch test a small area of your skin before applying any new product to your face. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to use less ZeoClay than suggested or add a gentle moisturizer after washing off.
